X-ray crystallography
X-ray crystallography enables atomic resolution structures of biological molecules to be determined from protein crystals.
At NIMR we have an in-house X-ray source and an automated (robotic) crystal mounting machine. We use robotic systems for protein expression and crystallisation trials and for high-throughput screening of protein expression constructs.
