The Crick's director, Paul Nurse, has announced that Jim Smith and the director of Cancer Research UK's London Research Institute, Richard Treisman, have been appointed research directors for the Crick. They will continue to run their institutes but will play a key role in developing the Crick’s research programme.
Sir Keith Peters, who was interim director at the National Institute for Medical Research and helped to develop the plans for the Institute at St Pancras, is to advise the project on clinical and translational work and innovation in the run up to opening.
