Science for Health
10 November 2008
In summer 2008 eighteen students worked at NIMR under the Nuffield scheme. Thirteen of them presented their work at the annual science and technology fair at Imperial College London at the end of October, and five of them won prizes, including the top awards.
The Nuffield Science Bursary Scheme provides an opportunity for a number of Year 12 students to spend a month during the summer at the Institute. During this period they work alongside, and under the supervision of Institute scientists carrying out defined projects with achievable outcomes, that contribute to the work of NIMR.
