Colworth Medal awarded to NIMR alumnus

The 2010 Biochemical Society Colworth Medal will be awarded to Mark Dillingham, partly for work carried out during his postdoc at NIMR.
Three NIMR scientists elected as EMBO members

Three more NIMR scientists, James Briscoe, Alex Gould and Gitta Stockinger, have been elected as EMBO members this year. Election as an EMBO Member is a tribute to the significant contribution to the advancement of science made by each of these researchers.

Bliss book wins publishing prize

The Hippocampus Book has won the 2007 Professional and Scholarly Publishing award for Biomedicine and Neuroscience. The book was co-edited by Dr Tim Bliss, FRS, formerly head of NIMR's Division of Neurophysiology.
