British Xenopus Meeting 2011

The 2011 British Xenopus Meeting was held at NIMR on Monday February 7, with over 100 attendees.

The 2011 meeting of the British Xenopus Group was held in NIMR’s Fletcher Hall on Monday 7 February. More than 100 researchers attended, representing over 30 laboratories that use this amphibian system.

Following a day of lectures covering developmental, cell, and genomics approaches, there was a community discussion of new initiatives and large scale resources for Xenopus chaired by NIMR's Mike Gilchrist (pictured). The meeting was sponsored by Tecniplast and Aquatic Habitats, and organized by some of NIMR’s frog researchers: Jim Smith, Tim Mohun, and Lyle Zimmerman.
