The first Crick Symposium will be held on 2 July 2012, at the Wellcome Collection Conference Centre, Euston Road, London, on the theme of "Metabolism in Health and Disease".
Three half day symposia will be held in London each year with national and international speakers in a scientific area relevant to the Crick. The first of these, on 'Metabolism in Health and Disease' will take place 2pm-6pm on Monday 2 July 2012 at the Wellcome Collection. The meeting will discuss the influences of metabolism upon development, cancer, diabetes, obesity and ageing.
