Library ::
The Institute Library caters for a range of biological
science subjects, such as biochemistry, immunology,
virology, microbiology, etc. Three professional librarians
with backgrounds in science, supported by four assistants,
are available Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, ensuring
comprehensive assistance for researchers is always
available during these hours.
With easy access to a wealth of information resources and ample work and study space the Institute Library is well equipped to meet the research information needs of staff and students.
Although not open to the public visitors are allowed under certain circumstances and we offer a limited photocopy service to other libraries through normal inter-library loan procedures.
The Library occupies the fourth and mezzanine floors
of the main building. The galleried Main Reading Room
retains its original Art Deco styling and provides
an excellent environment for study and research.
