Art and science

Since 1998, an experimental and interdisciplinary Art Programme has been supported by NIMR. It provides opportunities for artists to make and think about art in a non-art context, and actively encourages artists to engage with scientists and other staff at the Institute.

Through a series of residencies, short visits, talks, publications and other interventions, the NIMR Art Programme has proven to be an ever-changing platform for ideas and creativity.

We hope that the NIMR Art Programme helps provide an understanding of the work of both the artists and scientists involved.
