Organisation structure
There are four major research groups at the Institute, each containing a number of Divisions. In total they include more than 200 scientists, 100 postdoctoral fellows, and approximately 100 postgraduate students, making the Institute the largest of the MRC's research establishments.
Research at the Institute is underpinned by more than 200 scientific support and ancillary staff within the Divisions, together with those providing central services and common facilities.
